Auction company ClareMart says it is often approached by investors seeking advice as to returns on a wide variety of asset classes.

"Investors continuously inundate us with questions about the best investment opportunities across the board," said Claremart director Andrew Koch.

"This is not only within the residential property market, but also on the commercial and industrial side, hotels, shopping centres, farms and developments."
