Marna heads up a group of companies which provide a comprehensive range of property-related services, including JHI Properties, Interpark and Sterikleen.

Marna successfully steered the merger between Gensec Property Services and JHI Properties in September 2006, translating it into a major organisation. As CEO of JHI, the company ncreased its portfolio under management from some R15 billion in 2007 to R95 billion today.

Marna completed her articles at KPMG after which she was appointed as a part time lecturer at the Vaal Triangle Technikon.

In the following years she worked at SASOL as a Senior Accountant and in 1996 she began her career with Gensec as senior internal auditor. She was appointment CEO in November 2003.

Marna is a member of various organisations, including RICS Governing Council (International), Chairman of the Appeals Panel, Director of the Board of the Property Charter, IRBA, FRICS, SAICA, Women's Property Network and the Young Presidents' Organisation.
