Managing Director/CEO (Sectional Title Management Company)

The position is for the Chief position in a leading Property and Facilities Management company in Gauteng with the Head office in Centurion.

The Business has been operating for 30 years. The primary focus is on the management of properties on behalf of the Home Owners Associations and Body Corporates. Other divisions include the Rental division, Facilities Management and Insurance Brokerage. The business is a family business who wishes to establish it as the leader in any area it operates in while expanding its footprint and offerings and growing profits in an enjoyable, cooperative and professional office environment

This position requires an experienced executive in the industry capable of driving business independently while leading the business as a market leading brand into the future. This executive should have proven leadership skills and an ability to grow the business exponentially. The incumbent should be innovative, focused and innovative to ensure the sustainability while delivering growth. 

Specific responsibilities and required skills are listed below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Board to execute on the Shareholders Mandate      
  • Translate the Mandate into a cohesive and executable strategy
  • Leading the staff to execute on the strategy to deliver the outcomes agreed with them and the shareholders
  • Lead staff to work coherently to grow the business and their own futures
  • Manage all stakeholders to secure the growth of the business
  • Identify, pursue and deliver sales opportunities to grow the business through alliances or organically
  • Develop a standing in the industry that will underline the firm’s expertise
  • Build the Brand to the benefit of staff and shareholders
  • Proactively market clients and prospects
  • Have a network of referral sources
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to contribute to the growth of the industry
  • Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to unlock opportunities
  • Act innovatively to unlock future business opportunities
  • Manage the company profitable
  • Strictly comply with all regulatory rules, policies, and procedures


  • Minimum of 10 year experience within the SECTIONAL TITLE MANAGEMENT industry of which at least five has been in an executive position
  • Relevant qualifications related to the Industry (for example the Paddocks training) and a degree for example (B degree in Law, Finance or Property Industry)
  • Knowledge and experience in the Property and Facilities Management industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound understanding of the Act and the Regulations governing the Company including the Companies Act, the Sectional Title Scheme Management Act and Estate Agents Affairs Act.
  • Ability to interpret financials and use data efficiently
  • Excellent oral and written communications abilities
  • Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent
