Hammerson completes £236m Highcross sale

Hammerson plc  today announces that is has completed the sale of the 50% stake in Highcross shopping centre in Leicester to an Asian investor introduced by M&G Real Estate for £236m.

SA-focussed and diversified REIT, Dipula Income Fund, reported double-digit growth in distributable earnings to R504.2 million, and its DIA and DIB  dividends per share were up over 4,4% a piece year-on-year. 

According to the report, a few commercial buildings were completed in the first half of 2018, increasing the total office supply to about 1.74 million sq m of Gross Leasable Area (GLA).
