Porsche South Africa was the highest bidder on Kyalami racetrack which went under the hammer today,at the High Street Auctions event, for a record R 205 million.

Today's multi-property auction reflects the increasing trend of buying and selling properties on auction.

Wednesday 18 September 2013, High Street Auctions hosted their monthly property auction at Summer Place, Hyde Park where over R 55 million was achieved for 15 properties. 

The property market is beginning to see growth and movement making this a favourable time to upgrade or buy your first home in 2013, before prices start to climb again

The full-house auction held today, Thursday 15 August at Summer Place, Hyde Park, achieved bidding in excess of R 48 million for 13 properties. 

High Street Auctions announced that its next multi-property auction will be held on Thursday 25 July, at 12pm, at Summer Place in Hyde Park. 14 properties will be showcased and pre-registration has opened.

A complex of four apartment blocks and the Primrose Hotel were among the other attractions.

Some interesting properties including three game lodges come under hammer but auctioneer doubts sellers will find bids acceptable.

The Sheppard Boutique Hotel in Nelspruit and a default auction of a block of flats in Boksburg were among the properties that came under the hammer at the Bidline auction at the Inanda Club on Tuesday, in a market that showed signs of improving.
