Today the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) announced that it will be spending more than R30 million in the new financial year starting on 1st of April 2017 in its efforts to bring about transformation in the home building industry. 

A draft Property Practitioners Bill will be published by the Department of Human Settlements for public comment with a purpose of establishing a more inclusive, representative sector, towards radical economic transformation. 

Run-down buildings in inner cities should be used to help combat the student accommodation shortage around universities in the country.
