Abland, one of South Africa’s leading property developers for over 30 years, continues to break new ground in Centurion as it adds additional buildings to its Westend Office Park.

 -WESTEND-1-

Westend Office Park will consist of six A-Grade office buildings which will total 37 000m² in lettable spaces. Buildings A and B are complete with tenants and office space still available. Building C and D are proposed four-star 7 000m² building space and will include a coffee shop that will serve the greater office park, a board room facility that will be able to accommodate 20 people for meetings and/or presentations and will be mobility impaired friendly.

Construction of building C is currently underway, with occupation expected to take place on 01st August 2019. Thereafter, construction of building D with a space of 6 700m² starts 01st of March in 2020. A shuttle service for the office park has been earmarked for implementation and will be ready for operation once building D is complete. For fitness enthusiasts, there’s a cycling trail on the premises and shower facilities to be enjoyed before and/or after work.

Abland continues to add additional element to the greater precinct by increasing security on the pedestrian route to the Gautrain station as well as installing cameras on route with dedicated patrolling security between the office park and Gautrain station.

“Westend Office Park offers everything a corporate tenant needs, from excellent security to easy accessibility. Abland has signed a deal with Sanlam Employee Benefits (SEB) to have one of their business units in building D once complete. The development uniquely hosts beautiful views over the Hennops River creating a tranquil environment perfect for productivity. Its optimal location on Hall Street allows for easy access from the highways and major public transport routes as well as in walking distance from the Centurion Gautrain station and Centurion Mall,” says Hendrik Van Zyl, Abland.

-CENTURION-JUNCTION-

Construction on building E will commence later in 2019 with building F commencing towards the end of 2020.

Side note: As soon as Westend Office Park reaches critical mass (around building E), we will start exploring funding options for the Centurion Junction project.
