A tenanted industrial business park in Boksburg, featuring established tenants and solid leases, secured a notable R27 million at last month’s multiple auction event. 

The property occupies a prominent location within the established industrial area of Boksburg East. The property covers the width of an entire block, and enjoys excellent access to and from a wide catchment area via most main and secondary routes including the Atlas Road offramp on the N12 highway. 

The property which has been upgraded over the past few years, hosts 18 industrial units, and extends over an approximate GLA of 13 000m². The sale effectively represents a rate of just over R2000/m2 

The units vary in size, and are achieving strong rental rates per m². The property has a projected gross annual income of R4.4 million, generated from solid long standing tenants.

Retail opportunity in the established township of Katlehong:

Kwa-Mashiya shopping centre is a retail property in Moleleki in the established township of Katlehong, on Johannesburg’s East Rand.

The site experiences good pedestrian traffic, and can be easily accessed by various primary and secondary roads with the most obvious being Sontonga Street, which runs through Katlehong.

The property is divided into two sections, with a northern section and a southern section divided by a loading area. Each section hosts two shop type areas with the northern section hosting a Church and Dry Cleaner, and the southern section a small supermarket and butchery. The building hosts various ablutions, kitchenettes and store/office areas.
