CBS Announces that Coca Cola’s Africa Division Will Open Its Local Office In Illovo’s Brait Place

A new division of global giant Coca Cola, previously based in Windsor in the UK, has opted to open its first Africa office in CBS Property Group’s premier Brait Place office building in Johannesburg’s leafy Illovo node.

A new division of global giant Coca Cola, previously based in Windsor in the UK, has opted to open its first Africa office in CBS Property Group’s premier Brait Place office building in Johannesburg’s leafy Illovo node.

The tenant will occupy some 1,080m² of the prime office space, accommodating an approximate staff complement of 30 people. As the Africa group head office, the new headquarters will also provide a base for the chairman. All regional managers will report into these offices.

Brokered by Kieron Murray of Bradford McCormack properties, the lease will run for two years, from 1 March 2007 to 28 February 2009.

CBS Property Group is a property loan stock investment holding company listed on the JSE Securities Exchange. The group manages its own portfolio of 48 properties, valued at R2 billion.
