Tyris partners with Inframax on "The District"

19 Apr 2006 - Tyris Group -

Intro
Overlooking the new Rivonia Rd upgrade and within easy access of Sunninghill’s vibey CBD the district promises to be yet another success for this established business partnership.

Commercial development was the basis on which the Tyris Group was built. On start-up, in 1995, the Group won tenders to lay foundations and execute erosion repair at ESKOM’s Impala and Illovo Substations. This was followed by an appointment as one of ESKOM’s preferred suppliers, a position the Group still maintains today.

From these humble beginnings the Tyris Commercial portfolio grew to include petrol forecourts, Office Parks and up-market conferencing and leisure facilities.

After 4 years of focus in the residential market, 2006 will see Tyris returning to the commercial sector. The first of these commercial projects, a 6000m2 office block in Bedfordview is already underway. Developed as the new Spectramed head office,  the project is due for completion at the end of the first quarter with handover in early May.

This will be followed by a number of sectional-title office parks which will be developed in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg and surrounds between 2006 and 2008. The first of these Office Parks is “The District”  will see Tyris will once again partnering with Inframax Developments.

Overlooking the new Rivonia Rd upgrade and within easy access of Sunninghill’s vibey CBD – The district promises to be yet another success for this established business partnership. The district launches to the public on the 24th of March.
