Braamfontein worth a look

05 Jul 2010 - eProp - RP

Intro
Braamfontein has had so many positive changes that the area’s revitalization is no longer just a ‘long term dream’, the change can now be seen on the ground

One only needs to walk the streets to notice- up market new hotels and chic bars that have opened their doors on Smit Street, a piazza has been created on Melle Street, trendy new shops are starting to line De Beer Street, parks have been revitalized, stylish restaurants have been created on De Korte as well as on Juta Street.

An  8 month rent Free period for A-grade offices in Phenyo House (corner Juta and De Beet St.) is being offered by Rejuvenate Properties. Thereafter rentals will remain exceptionally low at R49/m2. This is due to the fact that Rejuvenate Properties has recently purchased a building that was owner occupied and is now vacant and in order to fill it up quickly they are offering  “this is a once in a lifetime offer!” remarks Justin Blend of Rejuvenate Properties.

The Democratic Alliance (D.A.) political party and an accounting firm have been quick to realize the tremendous value that this deal offers and have both signed leases.

“With the recent success of the Gautrain and BRT, realization that areas such as Braamfontein, being a hub of the new public transport system, ensure transport reliability and therefore higher productivity and are hence becoming sort after areas by employers” says Nicholas Katsapas.
